Two people were arrested Monday after Fort Wayne Police teams raided a northeast-side home and reportedly found marijuana, cocaine, Xanax and a large amount of cash.
Around 9:40 a.m., detectives with the Fort Wayne Police Department’s Gang and Violent Crimes Unit along with members of the Emergency Services Team served a “high-risk” search warrant at a home at 9702 Hidden Village Place off Wheelock Road. The warrant came after police bought 223 grams of marijuana from a resident of the home – 20-year-old Lance Lendman, according to a police report.
As police served the warrant, several people came out of the home, including Lendman and his girlfriend – 18-year-old Alexis Gladieux.
At the home, police reportedly found more than 190 grams of marijuana, more than 4 grams of cocaine, 19 grams of Xanax/Alprazolam (a level IV controlled substance) and $7,500, police said.
Lendman was arrested and charged with Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Dealing Marijuana, both felonies. Gladieux was also arrested and charged with Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Dealing in Schedule IV Controlled Substance, both felonies.
Police said at Allen County Lockup, an additional 74 grams of Xanax/Alprazolam was found hidden inside one of Gladieux’s body cavities.
Police said “several other suspects” could face criminal charges as the investigation continues.
