An Auburn man has been arrested after police said he asked a 12-year-old girl for pictures and videos of her.

Ryan Hall, 23, faces two felony charges of Child Solicitation, the fallout from a four-month investigation by Indiana State Police that began in March when the Tippecanoe County girl’s parents found sexually explicit messages on her Facebook account.

Investigators said that Hall asked for like photos and videos from the girl. It’s not clear if any were sent or received, and if they ever met.

No other information about the case was released.

The Tippecanoe County Sheriff Department, Auburn Police Department, DeKalb County Sheriff Department and Indiana State Police all worked the case.

Hall was charged by the  DeKalb County Prosecutor’s Office.

Hall was taken into custody Friday and booked into the DeKalb County Jail. Police found marijuana and paraphernalia on him at the time of his arrest.
