Whether you’ve never been on any of the 566 miles of flowing water in northeast Indiana or you hop on the rivers regularly, an upcoming event wants to get you pedal, paddle, and play your way through downtown Fort Wayne.

Northeast Indiana Water Trails will host the 3rd annual “Pedal, Paddle, and Play” on Saturday, June 9 at Guldlin Park in downtown Fort Wayne.

You are invited to pedal your bike along the river greenway or paddle a canoe, kayak, or paddleboard on the river in a scavenger hunt. Thousands of dollars of prizes, including a complete kayak package from Fort Wayne Outfitters and Bike Depot, will be awarded once attendees return with the scavenger hunt completed.

Following the event, an afterparty will be held at Hop River Brewing Company on North Harrison Street.

Registration is $25 for single participants, $45 for doubles. Children 15 and under are free with a paying adult.

The paddle will start at noon (registration/packet pick-up begins at 11 a.m.). The pedal kicks off at 2pm (registration/packet pick-up starts at 1:30 p.m.)

Pedal, Paddle, and Play will be a rain or shine event. You can register online at:
