Paul Davis explains ice dam dangers to your home

We have survived arctic temperatures this week, but don't breathe a sigh of relief just yet. The looming thaw has the potential to create ice dams on roofs that could result in damage to a house.

Ice dams are a ridge of ice that forms at the edge of a roof and prevents melting snow from draining off the roof. The water that backs up behind the dam can leak into a home and cause damage to walls, ceilings, insulation, and other areas.

Paul Davis project manager Adam Myers explains how you can prevent ice dams.  He also explains why Paul Davis is a great resource if you are worried about ice dams forming on your home.
