Local News

Park Center has expanded services to include primary care for adolescents and adults.

On Thursday, Park Center held an open house so the public could tour the new clinic in the Lafayette Medical Center in the 2700 block of Lafayette Street.

Representatives call Park Center Health & Wellness a ‘one-stop shop.’

The clinic offers primary care as well as behavioral and mental health services. The clinic has three programs including Three Wishes, a homeless outreach program, and the primary care clinic.

“This zip code, the 46806, is basically medically underserved,” said Ian Broad-White, Practice Manager for Park Center Health & Wellness. “This basically means access to care is not there, so we wanted to change that.”

The new clinic accepts patients that are 11 years old and up. Medicaid/HP, Medicare, and some commercial insurance are accepted. The clinic is accepting patients.
