Ohio driver T-bones truck; teen critically injured

A teenager is in critical condition, and two adults are hurt, after a crash in DeKalb County Saturday night.

According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department, Matthew Lechleidner, 20, was traveling north on SR 1 approaching CR 40 around 7:45 p.m.

At the same time, Zadin McNalley, 19, was traveling east on CR 40. Riding in the front seat was a 16-year-old from Bryan, OH. 

Police report witnesses saw McNalley disregard the stop sign while approaching SR 1. His vehicle entered the intersection, striking Lechleidner’s truck at a right angle.

Lechleidner, McNally and McNalley’s teenage passenger were injured in the crash. The teen suffered injuries to her head and is in critical condition. The two adult men were treated for minor injuries.
