Police are investigating after two people were hurt while riding their motorcycle in DeKalb County around 7:30 p.m. Friday.
The Sheriff’s Department said in a new release Saturday the crash happened on CR 5, just north of CR 16.
50 year-old Brian L. Crager of Kendallville told police he was traveling westbound into the curves when he hit some sand on the north edge of the road.
Authorities said the motorcycle left the road and flipped on it’s side.
Crager and his passenger, 54 year-old Polly A. Skidgel, suffered minor injuries.
Nether rider was wearing a helmet.
The Corunna Fire Department and DeKalb County EMS assisted the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department.
