A Michigan man was killed Wednesday morning in a crash along U.S. 30 near New Haven.
Police and medics were called around 8:45 a.m. to U.S. 30 at South Doyle Road, just east of Interstate 469, on a report of a crash between a car and a semi.
Emergency personnel arrived and pronounced the driver of the car dead at the scene, New Haven police said.
That person was identified as Robert L. Gray, 57, from Chelsea, Michigan. The Allen County Coroner’s Office said Gray died of multiple blunt force injuries due to a motor vehicle crash.
It’s not clear how the crash happened and it’s unknown whether weather played a factor. New Haven police said the crash is still under investigation.
