McDonald's offering delivery in Fort Wayne through Uber Eats

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Fort Wayne eaters can now get a Big Mac delivered.

Fast food chain McDonald's announced this week that it had teamed up with Uber Eats to bring its "McDelivery" service to the city. Through the Uber Eats app, customers can order McDonald’s menu items from 16 locations in the Fort Wayne area, and have them delivered to their location.

Users can place orders through the mobile Uber Eats app or online at UberEats.com with their regular Uber account.

"We're very excited to partner with Uber Eats," said Dick Littlefield, owner/operator of McDonald's restaurants in Fort Wayne, Avilla, Woodburn and Churubusco. "If you're a Mom busy with the kids or a student studying late at night, now you can get your favorite McDonald's menu items so easy and quick. An Uber Eats courier will bring it right to you.

"It's all about customer convenience."

Barry Kennedy, Uber General Manager, said the partnership with McDonald's would give Fort Wayne residents "easy access" to the food of the Golden Arches.

“With Uber Eats, you can get the food you want, where you want it, delivered at Uber speed,” said Kennedy. “We are thrilled to partner with McDonald’s to give fans in town easy access to their McDonald’s favorites at the tap of a button.”

New Uber Eats users will receive a $5 off coupon code for their first McDelivery order. Users can use coupon code ORDERMCDS18 through Dec. 31.
