FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The last 30 days have been filled with anguish, frustration, and concern for Lance Yankey and his family. There has still been no sign of his son, Kevin Nguyen.
Kevin asked to be picked up from the Brass Rail on Broadway the morning of December 9th. It's last they heard from him.
The family has searched nearly everywhere since then. They have put up posters, they've found his glasses, have gotten surveillance, and have received tips, but so far - no solid leads.
"I wish it was something solid, I just want to know where he is," Yankey said.
Yankey said he is trying to remain optimistic, though he feels someone did something to Kevin. He said the holidays were tough for the family, especially when he packed up Kevin's Christmas gifts.
"I put them in his room and then I sat in his room and I lost it. That was hard," Yankey said. "That's where it goes back to wherever he is, whoever did something to him, how do you wake up and go 'hey son, I love you, how is it going,' when I can't look at my son and say I love him because I don't know where he is, that's not fair."
Yankey said he and his family will keep doing everything in their power until they find Kevin. He hopes whoever knows something will find it in their heart to speak up.
"I'm at that point where I don't care who did it or what happened to him. Tell me where he is."
