The body of a man was found in the Freimann Square fountain last week.
Zachary D. Foster, a 40-year-old from Fort Wayne, was found Thursday morning in the fountain at the downtown park. An autopsy was completed by the Allen County Coroner’s Office but the cause and manner of Foster’s death was not determined.
Additional testing and investigation was still to be done, the coroner’s office said Monday.
A Fort Wayne Police spokesman told WANE 15 last week that the death appeared to be either an overdose or natural causes, and he added then that the coroner thought there wasn’t anything suspicious about the death.
The case is being investigated by the Fort Wayne Police Department and Allen County Coroner’s Office.
