Man accused of making bomb threat on Wabash Judicial Center

Local News

A Wabash man is facing charges after a fake bomb threat at the city’s Judicial Center.

On March 11, an employee of a local business called police about a note outside the business indicating a threat of explosion at the Wabash Judicial Center. The report prompted Indiana State Police Explosive Ordinance Disposal Team to search the judicial building. They found no devices.

Police were led to Chad Miller, 28, during their investigation. Detectives discovered Miller was supposed to appear in court on the morning of the fake bomb threat.

A judge issued a warrant for his arrest which was served on Thursday. Miller is already at the Wabash County Jail being held on unrelated charge.

Miller is facing charges for false reporting and intimidation where a threat is to commit a forcible felony.
