Library and local businesses celebrate Comic Book Day

Local News

Free Comic Book Day is here again! The Summit Sports Comics and Games will opened at 10 a.m. and are giving away four books per person.

Comic book fans can also get a free comic at the ACPL Main Library Branch while supplies last. There will be fun activities at both locations all day.

You can learn more about what goes into writing graphic novels during a workshop, at the main library branch. It’s being lead by Courtney Hahn at the main library.

There will be two sessions, one from 11 a.m. to noon, and another from 3-4 p.m.  There’s no cost to attend.

The Aboite and Georgetown library branches will also have free comic books available for all ages that day.  Those locations are requesting that customers only take one comic book per person, while supplies last.
