Jimmy John’s opens first Columbia City store

A new Jimmy John’s sandwich shop is now open in Columbia City and the owner is still hiring employees for the restaurant. 

The store is located at 289 West Walker Way just south of U.S 30.

Owner Josh Grannell said he plans on hiring about 30 workers.  Anyone interested in applying can go to snagajob.com or stop by the store which is open Sunday-Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday/Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

“This will be our first store in Columbia City and our team is excited to serve fresh, fast and tasty sandwiches to a new set of customers in the area,” said Grannell. “We’re also excited for customers to try our new 9-Grain Wheat Sub, Kickin’ Ranch®, sliced pickles and 16” Giant sandwiches.”
