A downtown intersection will be closed starting Monday for construction related to the Deep Rock Tunnel project.
Crews will be installing two 60-inch-diameter pipes at the intersection at Harrison and Superior on Monday, April 16. They will eventually connect to City Utilities’ Deep Rock Tunnel when it is completed and operational in 2023.
The closure is expected to continue through late June while two 60-inch-diameter pipes, one for stormwater and the other for combined sewage, are installed under the intersection.
