I-69 ramp to I-469 back open after semi crash

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A tractor-trailer carrying ice cream overturned on the ramp to eastbound I-469 late Tuesday night.

Police were called to the southbound I-69 ramp to eastbound I-469 on the northwest side of Fort Wayne around 10:45 p.m.

The driver of the semi was not hurt, but the contents of the truck were likely ruined – ice cream. The trailer did not split open and was uprighted by wrecker crews and eventually towed away.

The semi was the only vehicle involved and the driver was not hurt.

The ramp was back open around 2 a.m. Wednesday.
