Local News

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — More than 300 customers remain without power in downtown Fort Wayne.

The outage runs from Main Street north to an area roughly south of Headwaters Park, the convergence of the three rivers to the east and not quite to Ewing Street to the west. At one point 625 customers were without power. I&M initially indicated on its website outage page that the power would be restored at an estimated time of 3:15 p.m., however as of 4:40 p.m. the estimated time of restoration was shown as “assessing condition.”

WANE 15 is told a construction crew cut a line.
