Homemade light displays to visit for Christmas

Local News

The halls are decked, it’s merry and bright in northeast Indiana.

If you’re looking to enjoy Christmas cheer on the evening of Christmas, there are some houses in the area to visit.

Jason Grossnickle’s home sits on Crooked Creek Parkway. He has decorated the outside of his house for 15 years.

This year, his display was made with over 50,000 lights, inflatables and even a lit walkway.

Grossnickle puts everything up himself from the arches on the walkway to the roof designs.

“It’s my gift to everybody, just here’s some lights come enjoy it.” said Grossnickle. You do still have time to see it yourself. He says his display will be up through the first week of January.

In addition to Grossnickle’s home, there are others in the area that also elaborate and bright. Some are even timed to music.
