A Fort Wayne man has been sentenced for trafficking drugs in 2016.
Reginald Gant, 33, was sentenced Friday in U.S. District Court to 14 years in prison followed by four years of supervised release for Possessing with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance and Possessing a Firearm in Furtherance of a Drug Trafficking Crime. Gant had previously pleaded guilty to the charges.
According to federal court documents, Gant was found with “100 grams or more of a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of heroin, a Schedule I Controlled Substance.” He also had a gun, authorities said.
