FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – It’s been one year since the death of George Floyd.
For nine minutes and 29 seconds former police officer Derek Chauvin kneeled on George Floyd’s neck, as he begged for air. After the video made the airwaves and social media, protests erupted across the nation including in Fort Wayne.
After nearly a year of protests and racial justice conversations, the Fort Wayne community weighed in on if they believe there has been any changes or advancement.
