Grabill man leads police on 100 mph pursuit

Police have arrested a man from Grabill, Indiana after leading them on a pursuit through Hicksville, Ohio and into Allen County, Indiana.

Just before 3:45 a.m. on Sunday, Hicksville Police were investigating a suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of W High Street in Hicksville. 

When the officer arrived, the vehicle pulled out and drove west on High Street, leading police on a pursuit that reached speeds up to 100 miles per hour. The pursuit continued into Allen County, Indiana on State Road 37, before the vehicle came to a stop near State Road 101.

The driver of the vehicle, 26-year-old George Lincoln, was arrested for Failure to Comply with an Order or Signal of a Police Officer, a 3rd-degree felony, O.V.I. and Left of Center.

Lincoln was taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio and will appear in Defiance Municipal Court on Monday.
