A national restaurant chain opening in Fort Wayne is celebrating with charity fundraisers. Metro Diner, the first location in the Summit City, boasts comfort food and everyone’s favorite diner classics.

The diner chain was once featured on the show “Diners, Drive-In’s and Dives” with chef Guy Fieri. It serves all day breakfast, lunch and dinner.

This weekend, guests who donate to two charities can get a sneak peak at the diner. Saturday’s donations go straight to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana. Donations from Sunday go to Franciscan Brother’s Minor.

Reservations are required and can be made for both days from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. or 4 p.m.-7:30 p.m. by calling the charity reservation line at 260-543-4066.

Fort Wayne’s location is at 5525 Coldwater Road in Coldwater Crossing. It officially opens on Tuesday, April 10.
