A Fort Wayne native is fulfilling his dream of recording music.
Homestead and Indiana University graduate Daymon Osborn used to work as a teacher. He quit that job to work on an oil rig in Texas, to make more money.
Osborn said it was the only way he knew he could get his dream off the ground.
Now over a year later, he is back in his hometown of Fort Wayne — recording a country album in the Sweetwater Studio.
“It’s been a lot of hard work…16 and 17 hour days” said Osborn, “but to be able to see the payoff happening here at Sweetwater, with world-class people, world-class equiptment and world-class music, it’s an honor to be a part of this.”
Osborn’s band is laying down 13 tracks to make-up their debut album, “Unlucky”.
He said it’s set to come out in March.
