A Fort Wayne man was arrested in New York for a road rage incident involving a semi-automatic handgun on Friday.
According to New York State Police, 30-year-old Chad Rickard was arrested after being accused of pointing the handgun at a driver in another vehicle.
Thruway troopers stopped Rickard’s vehicle at an exit along the New York State Thruway near Syracuse. He was taken into custody without incident.
Rickard is being charged with Possession of a .45 caliber handgun and Menacing.
He was transported to the Onondaga County Justice Center for centralized arraignment.
