Fort Wayne now has its own version of a popular board game.
Fort Wayne-Opoly, created by Late for the Sky Productions based in Cincinnati, is a trading properties game similar to the famous Parker Brothers’ Monopoly.
Summit City staples including Coney Island, Parkview Field, and the Embassy Theatre are properties featured on the board. The classic railroads in Monopoly are instead major streets, like Clinton St. and Jefferson Blvd. The Three Rivers and Johnny Appleseed Festivals are also included in the game.
The game pieces, a pretzel, heart, dog, smile, shoe and a high five, are not themed to the city.
Fort Wayne-Opoly costs $19.98 and is only being sold at the Walmart on Apple Glen Blvd.
