Local News

The Fort Wayne Boat Show is back at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum for the 38th year.

More than 60 exhibitors are offering deals and the chance to get an up-close look at their inventory.

There are speed boats, fishing boats, pontoons, and even paddle boards, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The show also features accessories, water toys, piers, and golf carts.

The Department of Natural Resources will also conduct a water and boating safety class on Saturday. It’s free and open to the public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can register for the class at the DNR booth or at www.in.gov/dnr/lawenfor

There will also be give aways each day:

  • Friday – 6×12′ Paradise Pad each hour
  • Saturday – 10 YETI Ramblers each hour
  • Sunday – Stand-up Paddle Board

Admission to the Boat Show and Sale is $10 per person. Children 12 and under are free.

Hours are 3-9 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
