Fort Wayne Air Show changes dates

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Fort Wayne Air Show will now take place a month sooner than planned. The event is now slated for June 8 and 9, moved up from July 6 and 7, at the Fort Wayne National Guard Base.

The United States Air Force Thunderbirds will be featured in the two-day event. The date change was requested by the Thunderbirds.

Other acts will be the US Special Operations Command Para-Commandos, an elite military parachute team, the P-51 Mustang, the F-86 Sabre, aerobatic pilot Skip Stewart and more. Additional acts will be announced over the next several weeks.

Admission to the air show is free, but there are premium seating areas with a limited number of tickets available for purchase while supplies last.
