Do you have unwanted toxic waste to dispose? You can take it to The Allen County Department of Environmental Management’s Household Hazardous Waste Facility for Tox-Away Day.

The program has expanded to Saturdays, giving folk more chances to get rid of batteries, paints, electronics and other hazardous items.

The materials will be disposed of properly to prevent harm to people and the environment.

It’s from 9 to 2 at 2260 Carroll Road, minimal fees apply.

The program will operate on six Saturdays in addition to the regular weekly Tuesday schedule.  The dates for the expanded service are:

    April 6

Just a note, there is no Saturday schedule in July.
