FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Fire broke out at a Fort Wayne tire shop late Monday morning.
A fire was reported just before 11 a.m. at Tom Steele Tire at 2620 N. Clinton St.
According to a Fort Wayne Fire Department report, firefighters arrived to find a fire in a tire storage area. The blaze was quickly extinguished and under control in 13 minutes, the report said.
The room was left with minor fire and smoke damage, and moderate water damage. No injuries were reported.
At least six Fort Wayne Fire engines responded.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Spy Run Extended was closed to traffic in the area.
