At least eight fire departments responded to a large barn fire early Wednesday morning, in eastern Allen County.
The fire started around 2:30 a.m. on Harper Road near Webster Road east of New Haven. When firefighters arrived the barn was fully engulfed. More than a dozen trucks responded to the scene including several tankers.
The barn eventually collapsed and is a total loss. There’s no word on any injuries, or what was inside the barn.
Fire departments from around the area responded including the Woodburn Fire Department, Northeast Fire Department, New Haven Fire Department, Monroeville Fire Department, St. Joseph Township Fire Department, Poe Fire Department, and fire departments from Payne, Ohio and Convoy, Ohio.
