FORT WAYNE. Ind. (WANE) – For 90 decades, the Embassy has introduced Indiana to the biggest stars of stage and screen. Coming up in May, they’ll host an exciting lineup of movies, comedians, musical acts and more.
John Hughey joined First News Sunday for a look ahead to the spring and summer calendar.
The Marquee Gala is coming up on May 4. It includes dinner and an intimate concert with Gonzalez, star of “Hamilton,” “In the Heights” and “Wicked.”
The Marquee Gala is the only special event permitted on the Embassy stage and offers a rare opportunity to experience the Embassy from the performer’s perspective.
‘PJ Masks Live! Time to Be a Hero,’ is May 1. It’s based on a TV series, which airs daily on Disney Junior.
The Embassy is also a great place for comedy. Canada’s Martin Short and close friend Steve Martin are teaming for an intimate evening of live comedy and music on May 18.
The Embassy is doing a variety of things to celebrate its 90th anniversary. The year-long celebration is planned for 2018 and is presented by Sweetwater and Chuck and Lisa Surack.
Tickets are available at the STAR Bank box office at the Embassy, ticketmaster.com or by phone at 800-745-3000.
