Culinary Queens for Easterseals Arc

Fort Wayne's most influential women will tempt your taste buds, while competing for tips to support Easterseals Arc. Old National Bank presents Culinary Queens on November 10th.

Since 2009, Old National has hosted either a Culinary Queens or 100 Men Who Cook in 11 of its 16 regions within the company's footprint.

Funds will be raised through event sponsorships, ticket/tables sales and tips made on behalf of Queens, and toward the Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana.

The event will help cover costs that Medicare wouldn't traditionally cover.

"Specifically the Medicaid Waiver supports a lot of our services, but that's traditionally held flat for a long time and they really kind of cover the bare necessities. So it's really important for us to get community members to help support us so we can provide opportunities that everyone else likes to do in the community," says Donna Elbrecht, President & CEO of Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana.

Each signature event relies heavily on the volunteer efforts of the Old National staff and the collaborative efforts of our community nonprofits for its great success.

Due to the generosity of our sponsors, Chefs, Queens and the likes of each of you  Old National has hosted over 50 of these signature events throughout Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois and Michigan raising over $6.7 million for more than 30 charities across our company's footprint.

"It's in our DNA to support diversity and inclusion, and we've tried to play a big role in that. We've adopted diversity and inclusion into our core values, and we put our money where our mouth is when it comes to that," says Dan Doan, Old National Bank Fort Wayne Region President.

So far, the Fort Wayne queens have raised over $10,000 dollars.

The money raised will help in a variety of ways, some are pretty simple.

"It's as easy as a movie.  I mean they're not used to dreaming big, so when we're able to provide them resources,do things that we all take for granted, the smiles alone are just unbelievable," explains Donna.
