The Allen County War Memorial Coliseum took to Facebook to remind guests who don’t carry cash that they have a credit card option to pay to park.
But that option requires planning to use.
The Coliseum posted:
We’ve heard your requests and we have a solution! The Memorial Coliseum Ticket Office sells $6 vouchers that allow guests to purchase parking and concessions using credit/debit cards! Vouchers accepted at all concession stands and parking booths. Visit us before any event to grab yours!
The vouchers have been available for almost two years but the public is still learning of them.
All public parking at the Coliseum is cash only, something Coliseum officials frequently remind patrons.
“We consistently inform guests that the parking lot accepts cash only,” wrote Nathan Dennison, Vice President of Sales, in a message to WANE 15 News.
“We have heard more frequent and persistent requests for something like this from guests, so we just want to educate guests better that this is a great option, if they want to pay for parking with credit or debit.”
Dennison adds that companies sometimes use the vouchers to pay for employees who are attending events at the Coliseum.
The vouchers can also be used for concession items inside.
