Christmas at USF offers multiple attractions

The University of Saint Francis has announced the schedule for its annual Christmas tradition of yuletide celebration, Christmas at USF.

Photo opportunities include: Decorated Brookside Mansion, former Bass Mansion, with visitors inside; Fair Trade bazaar; Las Posadas ceremony; Lighting of the Lake; Living Nativity presentation.

Visitors can tour the festively decorated Brookside (former Bass Mansion) at Christmas in the Castle:

  • Saturday, December 1  Noon-5 p.m.
  • Sunday, December 2  Noon-5 p.m.
  • Monday, December 3  4-6 p.m.
  • Tuesday, December 4  Noon-5 p.m. (Senior Day)

A Fair Trade Alternative Shopping Bazaar will be conducted on Saturday and Sunday, December 1 and 2, from noon to 5 p.m. at the North Campus.
USF students will perform Las Posadas at 5:30 p.m. on December 2 as they walk through the USF campus, portraying Mary and Joseph’s journey in search of lodging.
The Lighting of the Lake will honor special loved ones on December 2 at 6 p.m. on the lawn near Brookside, in concert with the Living Nativity.
A Living Nativity with children’s petting zoo will take place Sunday, December 2, with the petting zoo open from 5 to 5:45 p.m. and the Living Nativity at 6 p.m. in the lawn next to Brookside.
It’s all happening at USF’s Main Campus, 2701 Spring Street, and USF North Campus, 2702 Spring Street.
