Bicyclists enjoy Fort 4 Fitness Spring Cycle

More than 1,200 bicyclist of all ages took part in the 7th annual Fort 4 Fitness Spring Cycle. 

The event is a part of the 2018 KickStart Festival.

Bicyclist gathered on Main Street near Arts United and could ride distances of 10, 16, 32, 43, and 63 miles. The 63 mile leg is the Metric Century 100K. Those riders started in downtown Fort Wayne and rode to Antwerp, Ohio and back.

After the event, participants could enjoy a Spring Expo with vendors, merchandise, bike repair and checks, and helmets for purchase. 

The event also featured a kids zone which included a kids cycling obstacle course, bike decorating, and trail mix stations. 

The finish line, on Barr Street south of Headwaters Park led riders into a block party. That included tours, water and first-aid, chocolate milk, food trucks, a beer garden, and bike valet.
