A 12-year-old Auburn girl has been selected as a competitor on a junior version of the hit show American Ninja Warrior.

Joy Wolf was the only Indiana entrant and one of 192 around the country to be chosen to compete American Ninja Warrior JUNIOR. The show debuted last month on the Universal Kids Network.

In American Ninja Warrior JUNIOR, children ages 9-14 compete on an obstacle course similar to those featured on the adult version of the show. The junior ninjas take on obstacles like Tic Toc, Sonic Swing and the Warped Wall, in side-by-side races.

Joy competed in the 11-12 year old age group.

Joy trains weekly at Classic City Center in Waterloo with former American Ninja Warrior national finalist Michael Bougher, who competed on season 10 of American Ninja Warrior.

Wolf’s episode will air Saturday, Nov. 24 at 7 p.m. on the Universal Kids Network.
