6th annual Ride 2 Remember event for Alzheimer’s awareness

The annual event Ride 2 Remember will be today at Elmwod Park in Huntington with registration beginning at 8 a.m. The ride will being at 9 a.m. and includes stops at 3 nursing homes in the area. There will be a free lunch provided and a stunt show at 1 p.m.

This event began because orginizer Tommy Johnson’s mother had Alheimer’s disease. This is a special year as it is the first year since his mother has died and this year will be a memorial event for her.

All ages are welcome and you can register at the doors up until the time the event starts.
