Fort Wayne-based 3Rivers Federal Credit Union is building a new two-story branch and mortgage center on the city’s northeast side. The 16,448 square foot facility is a $5 million dollar investment at 9112 Stellhorn Crossing near Stellhorn and Maysville roads.
Once it is complete, it will replace the current branch on Maysville inside the Chapel Ridge Shopping Center.
The building has an open concept with separate rooms for business and investment services. There will also be a three lane drive-thru and an in-wall ATM.
The mortgage center will have up to 50 employees with four conference rooms, private video conferencing spaces and a community room for up to 70 guests. The space will be utilized for financial wellness seminars, training, and community meetings and events.
Excavation on the property has already started. It is expected to open in summer of 2019.
3Rivers is working with local companies, including Bona Vita Architecture, who designed the facility, and Weigand Construction, who is serving as construction manager.
