Weisser park was busy celebrating Juneteenth on Saturday.
There were dozens of community information booths including voter registration, vision screenings, fitness instructionals, church outreaches and educational opportunities.
The event also had live music, bounce houses, a basketball tournament and free hot dogs and popcorn.
Juneteenth is also known as Freedom Day and commemorates when the last state, Texas, abolished slavery on June 19th,1865.
This was the 14th year for the Fort Wayne Juneteenth Celebration.
