FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The 42nd annual Johnny Appleseed Festival offers a chance to step back in time to the 1800’s.
The festival honors John Chapman, also known as Johnny Appleseed and features close to 200 vendors, including over 100 craft vendors and 40 food vendors.
The year, the festival will also be offering bags at the front of the festival.
The festival also includes a farmer’s market, featuring fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, apple cider, baked goods and sauce mixes.
“The great thing about the festival is it doesn’t change much,” Director of Administration of the Johnny Appleseed Festival, Bridgett Kelly said. “The things that people like, and love, and have come to expect will be there.”
