IPFW Omnibus Series continues with Fort Wayne native Charlie Savage

Fort Wayne, Ind.  (WANE) – It’s not every season that a Hoosier is featured in the IPFW Omnibus Lecture Series.  The next in the series on November 10 will present New York Times Correspondent, Charlie Savage, who hails originally from Fort Wayne.  His topic will be “Power Wars: Obama, Bush and the Post-9/11 Presidency.”  Savage is the author of two books, “Takeover” which chronicles the Bush-Cheney efforts to expand presidential power and “Power Wars” an investigative history of national-security legal policy in the Obama administration.  

Free tickets will be available starting on October 24.  Tickets may be picked up in person at the Gates Athletic Center Box Office on weekdays from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m., or may be reserved online.  Online tickets have a $1 processing fee per ticket.  On the day of the lecture any unclaimed tickets may be obtained one hour prior to the lecture in the Rhinehart Music Center.  Free parking is available in Garage #3 on the IPFW Campus.
