Monday deadline for voter registration in Indiana’s May Primary Election

Monday is the deadline to register to vote for Indiana’s May 8 Primary.

In person registration can be completed a county election officers. In Fort Wayne, residents can go to the Rousseau Center, 1 East Main Street, and register with an Indiana driver’s license or state ID. Potential voters must have lived at their current resident for a minimum of 30 days. 

Business hours at the Rousseau Center are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

Registration can be completed or verified online at indianavoters.com or by texting “Indiana” to 28683.

May’s primary will decide which candidates’ names appear on Indiana’s ballot for the Nov. 6 General Election.
