Indiana officials say State Budget Director Jason Dudich plans to resign to serve as vice president of the University of Indianapolis.
Dudich is expected to work for the state through the end of the legislative session in mid-May. Gov. Eric Holcomb, who announced Dudich’s departure on Friday, says he will appoint a replacement in the near future.
Holcomb appointed Dudich in 2017. The governor says in a release the outgoing budget director “is an enthusiastic problem-solver.”
Dudich also will serve as the university’s chief financial officer and treasurer.
