The death of a 19-year-old Purdue University student that fell from the balcony of an apartment on the school’s campus has been ruled a suicide.

The Journal & Courier reports Sunday that the woman was found about 2 a.m. Saturday.

Police Lt. Jon Eager tells the newspaper that the student and three other people were in the apartment when she fell. Eager said she lived in the apartment.

The identity of the woman has yet to be released. Police have now determined that she jumped from a 10th story window of The Hub Apartments.

West Lafayette city engineers say The Hub Apartments meet all required window and building regulations.

The apartment complex opened about a month ago.
