ST. LOUIS (WANE) – Former Komet Justin Hodgman has agreed to terms on a contract with the St. Louis Blues of the NHL per the team’s Twitter account.

Hodgman made his NHL debut last season with the Arizona Coyotes, scoring in his first game on October 24, 2014. He played a total of five games with Arizona.

Hodgman spent the bulk of the 2014-15 season with the AHL’s Portland Pirates. He skated in 62 games with Portland, with the center registering 11 goals and 24 assists.

Hodgman joined the Komets right before the playoffs in three consecutive seasons, beginning in 2008. He was the 2008 Turner Cup Finals MVP, helping lead Fort Wayne to an IHL championship.
