FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -A TV star and Ph.D. antiques appraiser is sharing her expertise at the Home and Garden Show. Dr. Lori Verderame from the Discovery Channel show “Auction Kings” is stopping by the Memorial Coliseum to give people in northeast Indiana free appraisals and tips on looking at valuable antiques.
Dr. Lori has traveled the country with her antique and art knowledge and has written columns in more than 400 publications and 30 books. She reviews about 20,000 items a year.
During the Fort Wayne Home and Garden Show, Dr. Lori will have two shows at 12 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 28. She is offering one free appraisal per person per show.
The 42nd annual Home and Garden Show runs from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday.
Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and kids under age 15 get in for free. Parking is $5.
