INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WANE) – Indiana Democratic leaders again called for an appeal of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act on Tuesday.

Democrats delivered a response to Governor Mike Pence at 1 p.m. on Tuesday. During the earlier press conference, Pence stated that he wanted legislation on his desk by the end of the week that clarifies the Religious Freedom Restoration Act.

Democrats on Monday called for a repeal of RFRA and for the state’s civil rights laws to be modified to include protection based on sexual orientation.This article will updated.
