Two arrests have been made in connection with an arson at a home in Milford back in late July. The two men may have been involved in other crimes according to police.
The fire took place at a house located at 109 S. James Street on July 29, 2018. Fire investigators determined the fire had been deliberately set.
According to the Milford Police Department, the investigation stalled until a detective with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department developed solid leads about two individuals who were suspected of being involved in other cases he was looking into.
Mitchell Andrew Reynolds, 27, of Elkhart and Scott Noble, 26, of Syracuse have been charged in connection with the case.
The Milford Police Department credits Detective Sergeant Shane Bucher of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, along with the Milford Fire Department, the Warsaw-Wayne Territory Fire Department, the Noble County Sheriff’s Department with helping out in the case.
