The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department is looking for two people accused of stealing fireworks from a gas station in Howe on Friday.

The sheriff’s department released details of the incident Sunday, including surveillance images of the two suspects.

Police said the two suspects entered the Marathon, 0050 West 750 North in Howe, around 10:20 p.m. and left six minutes later. Surveillance images show the two exit the business with a large package of fireworks that were on display at the front of the store.

Police said the fireworks have a value of $160.

The sheriff’s department asked for the public’s help identifying the suspects Sunday evening. They have since been identified but are not in custody, according to an email from the sheriff’s department.
