Police search for 2 ‘armed and dangerous’ wanted fugitives


STEUBEN, LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – Police in LaGrange and Steuben Counties have asked for the public’s help to find two wanted fugitives considered armed and dangerous.

Aaron Robert Loffer, 32, has an active civil arrest warrant out of Steuben County, as well as an active felony arrest warrant out of Allen County for failure to appear. Police said Loffer is also a theft suspect in Steuben County and Branch County, Michigan, and additional criminal charges are being sought.

Loffer is a white man, standing 5-feet-10 and weighing 200 pounds, with blue eyes and short blonde hair.

Jeremy Tuttle, 31, has an active felony warrant out of LaGrange County for a probation violation on drug charges.

Tuttle is a white man, standing 6-feet tall and weighing 150 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.

Loffer and Tuttle are known to frequent LaGrange and Steuben Counties, as well St. Joseph and Branch Counties in Michigan. They are possibly driving a spray painted black 1996 GMC Yukon with damage to the rear windows.

Police said both suspects should be considered armed and dangerous and urged residents to not approach them and call 911 immediately if spotted. Anyone with information on the suspects whereabouts is asked to contact the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office or Steuben County Crime Stoppers at (260) 668-1000.
